There is absolutely no pressure.
If your child enjoys the experience—and we’re confident they will—you’ll have the opportunity to join our regular Under 13 programme and continue progressing through our structured martial arts curriculum.
Does my child need previous martial arts experience?
Not at all. This programme has been designed specifically for beginners.
What should they wear?
Comfortable sports clothing and a drink of water are all that’s needed for the first class.
Are classes suitable for shy or nervous children?
Absolutely. Many of our students join with little confidence. Our instructors specialise in helping every child feel welcome and included.
Is martial arts safe?
Yes. Universal Martial Art is taught in a structured, controlled and age-appropriate way, with safety always our highest priority.
